TSI

The Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI) aim to achieve a safe and interoperable European railway system. They are issued as EU regulations and are therefore directly applicable law in every EU member state. The TSIs form the basis for technical compatibility. They were originally introduced for freight and high-speed transport, but are now applicable to all conventional transport.

Among other things, the TSIs contain specific requirements and applicable test procedures for the individual interoperability constituents and subsystems. This forms the basis of our work as a Notified Body (NoBo) in the conformity assessment of railway products.
